I recently read “The Art of Intrusion”, by Kevin Mitnick, a particularly well-known hacker. The books is a series of true stories about hackers and their intrusion of secure networks. A very interesting read.

In other news, I’m skipping school today. I just needed a      sanity day, you know? Otherwise, I very well may have gone  catastrophically insane.

Still eagerly awaiting Silent Hill 5, which is about a day and a half overdue. It has yet to be released for download on Steam. I’m also a bit anxious to get n00barena.net pointed to my website, as the dotcom name went down, and the site is totally inaccessible.

Well folks, the field of politics has gone totally stagnant. Newbie McDumbass versus Scrotus McSaggy. The $700 billion bailout was recently turned down, so maybe this blog entry is currently in a textbook in the future, citing the average Joe’s opinion prior to the second Great Depression.

I’ve become totally disillusioned with politics. Yeah, it’s the future of our country. But fuck it. I’m going to play my part as a teenager and plant my head firmly in the dirt. For once, I’ll assume the role of the ignorant non-voter, because that’s all that I can be right now. Democracy is very much on its death-bed, because even if I were 18 and able to voice my opinion via vote, it wouldn’t count for anything. Between the Electoral Colleges, the obscene influence of the news-media, and the sheep who follow said media, my voice counts for nothing in this jumbled system that we call the great American Experiment. So I’ll play dumb.

While I want to keep this blog heavily focused on politics and goings-on, I’ll also transform it into a record of my life (or at least the parts that I care to mention), for myself and for whoever else might be interested.

So then here’s how my day went -

I woke up at about 6:00. A bit early for me, but I hit the sack at one that night, which was also early. I was waiting for Silent Hill 5 to release, but in keeping with tradition, the game has yet to go up for download, even as I type this.

School was mundane. I managed to get a lot of people playing “Masking tape ninja” – a very simple game. Write “NINJA!” on a piece of masking tape, and place it on somebody’s back without getting caught.

I got home, and found that my website’s domain name had expired. So I bought a parallel dot.net domain for now, along with an upgraded hosting plan to accommodate it.

That being said, I’ve got a splitting headache. Cya.

So I’m using this blog to add another lil’ appendage to the N00b Arena conglomerate.

So then, I suppose that teddy bears are a weapon of fear deployed by the Bush Administration in their ongoing war on Islam? Tickle me Hellmo was a horror to be sure, but teddy bears? Allah help us!!

This is the kind of rabid fanaticism that is to be feared from organized religion. I hate to say, but it’s become a sure fact of life. No, I’m not anti-Muslim. Nor am I anti-Christian or anti-semitic. Religion is fine when kept in check. But once it crosses that border to become the dominant influence in a person’s life, they become a fanatic.  And a fantatic (believing their divine justice to be superior to that of every non-believer) is willing to go to any length to ensure that they’re rewarded with those 72 virgins, or at least a Halo match against Jesus.

This concludes my Athiest rant.

Ok, I really like blogging.

It’s such a simple platform – so hightech, and smooth. I have a lot going on in my life though, and I still want to make this thing work. Those of you who know me know why I’ve been falling apart lately, and how swamped I am. I’m so behind in my school work that I have no idea how I’ll catch up – but you know what? School isn’t what it should be. Not only is it boring, but it doesn’t teach us anything useful. It teaches us how to take tests. It teaches us how to go to bigger and better schools. But does school teach us anything beyond eighth grade? Once we’ve become literate and developed social skills, generic classes don’t help at all.  They teach us how to adhere to standards. They teach us to fear arbitrary numbers that somehow indicate our worth as human beings. But what else?

Assorted facts, numbers, dates, and formulas. Generic information shoveled down our throats in order to turn us into little scientists (Yes – the emphasis on science and math is a remnant of the Sputnik days….).

I’m in an inspired mood right now, so I’ll just let it flow….

I was reading a book just now (Nuclear Madness), and I realized just how small we’ve been made. Did you know that the United States Government injected dozens of pregnant women with radiation? That they poisoned 49 mentally retarded boys as an “experiment”? Or howabout the old “germ in a lightbulb” trick? Why are we tools? Your life is just a number to them! They are willing to throw you away – to waste you – for the sake of a fucking experiment! Hiroshima and Nagasaki were experiments as well. The Japanese government was already scheduled to surrender within a few months of the bombing. And what, you ask, is the goal of this experimentation? The development of bigger nuclear weapons, which will of course lead to millions of other deaths. Why?!

Why are we tools? Why do we blindly trust these people to decide how we die? I am not advocating anarchy – no, that would be a step backwards. I am demanding change. How the hell are these people our leaders? Why can’t we remove them from power? Isn’t that the premise of our government, after all? That we have the right, and presumably the ability, to reorder our government? And why not?

My dream in life is to more or less become a writer. The obvious course of action from there would be to become a fat, rich, capitalist bastard. I could then live my life happily and comfortably behind the gates of my safe little mansion. At the same time, though, I want to change the world. I see these idiots on TV who obviously aren’t acting in my best interest (nor yours, or most other citizens…). So I think to myself: How will this lower my quality of life? How much will I, and my family, and my friends, suffer because this idiot in a suit is concerned only with his paycheck? You should ask yourself the same question. They lie and cheat and ignore the course of logic all day long.  Senator John Doe wins because he gets paid no matter what. I want to change this. Like I said, being a writer would be cool, but at the same time, I want to lead people. Politics would be nice, but I’ll give you twenty bucks the next time a semi-radical, video-game playing Athiest like myself gets elected to any office. There’s a thousand different problems we need to solve, each more dangerous than the last. If we don’t blow ourselves up, global warming will kill us. If we don’t pull out of Iraq now, we’ll provoke more terrorist attacks. AIDs and bird-flu will kill whoever survives the Osama attacks. The economy is sterile, and our youngest generation of kids have exceeded expectations in both obesity and stupidity.

So what can we do?

Hell if I know. But we should at least try.

Huh…..With two posts in a row about crazy crime chicks, this is starting to sound like a feminist politicial blog. Nah. I just thought this was cool too:History Lesson via CNN.

You know, it’s kind of to be expected. The USA did, after all, endorse the hanging of her dad. Not that I’m defending her actions or anything, but come on. It’s not like Saddam posed a threat to America. We never had evidence that he had nuclear weapons, apart from the lies fed to us by the Bush Administration, and now here we go. Turns out Saddam’s daughter might consequentially become an even bigger threat…

As I’m sure you’ve inferred by now, I’m a gamer. Which means I’m under 40. Which means you can trust me. However, this is supposed to be a blog about the advancement of the mind, not my 1337 Halo 5ki77z. So I’ll find a way to combine the two.

Silent Hill is an awesome game. Hell, I’d go as far as to say that I’m a downright fanboy. But it’s not the gore or the gameplay that make it fodder for our minds – it’s the storyline and scenario. The basic premise for Silent Hill 2 is this: a guy gets a letter from his dead wife, saying to go visit the abandoned town of Silent Hill. I’d love to elaborate further on this awesome story, but that would require some major spoilers – and let me tell you, it would be a massive spolier at that. It’d be more humane to ruin Harry Potter’s ending for you guys (which I’d never do ;p). In any case, try Silent Hill. It will definitely make you think about life, if you’re not to busy pissing yourself.

By the way, I’ve yet to figure out what exactly the title picture is. But I like it!

If this is to happen, I need you guys to tell your friends about it.
